Hey guys,
I have been super buys the last few days and haven't been able to keep up with the news. So here is the important stuff from the last 2 days.

Redesigned PS3 Slim to be released September 25:

The new model is a 50% size reduction vs. original PS3, and 25% vs. the previous slim model. It will be available in the U.S. on September 25 for $269, bundled with the " Uncharted 3 GOTYE and a voucher for $30 worth of content in the free-to-play shooter Dust 514. A non-bundled version of the new slimmer console will be priced at $249, no official date on its release yet. Their will also be a 500GB model launching for $299 on October 30.
Europe and Hong Kong will also get their hands on a 12GB flash memory console on October 4, priced at €299 ($389). Engadget has several pics of the long rumored new design.

PS Plus coming to Vita in November:
During TGS Sony revealed that PS Plus will be launching on the PS Vita this November. The service will be available to PS Vita owners for $17.99 every three months or $49.99 for the year. Sony has since confirmed existing PS Plus subscribers on PS3 will get PS Vita membership and new PS Plus subscribers on PS Vita will be able to access the PS3 bonuses.

Valve Hardware to enter external beta next year?:
Valve in-house hardware developer Jeri Ellsworth told Engadget that she hopes to hold an external beta test, tied to Steam, for the company's first hardware product next year. Internal beta tests within Valve are already ongoing. Still no official word on what that device device might be, but the stated goal is "to make Steam games more fun to play in your living room." The new hardware is some kind of input method to improve playability of PC games using Big Picture Mode.

A new Crysis 3 trailer has been released to make you druel:

And a new trailer for The Hobbit!:

Also: Saints Row: The Third has a free weekend, on PC through Steam. Check your Steam purchase history if you can't find it.
